The journal’s scope encompasses four primary areas of research: Agricultural Sciences, including sustainable agricultural technology, production, biotechnology, plant pathology, genetic improvement, soil science, and agribusiness; Education, covering interdisciplinary research in science education, mathematical education, vocational education, educational psychology, educational technology, pedagogy, instruction, and assessment; Social and Human Sciences, focusing on sociology, anthropology, psychology, economics, law, philosophy, communication, and other applied social sciences, particularly studies addressing critical themes for social, cultural, and economic development; and Tourism, which includes both applied and theoretical research on tourism and leisure studies at international, national, and regional levels.

Aligned with its mission, IJAETT prioritizes research that provides tangible contributions to current and future societal challenges. The journal invites submissions that demonstrate originality, creativity, and relevance, particularly those that engage with multiple fields of study to offer comprehensive and collaborative perspectives. This first issue contains articles from various disciplines with multidisciplinary concerns on various issues such as agricultural sciences, applied science from a philosophical perspective, water management system towards tourism sector and the impact of technological developments on education. All articles in this issue have been reviewed blindly, and the authors and co-authors are from two countries (Indonesia and Malaysia)
