The Journal of Contemporary Literature Review and Analysis (JCLRA) is an international open-access journal based in Malaysia that publishes literature review articles exclusively.
JCLRA serves as a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to synthesize existing knowledge, identify research gaps, and critically analyze emerging trends across multiple disciplines — including technology, education, psychology, and social innovation.
Unlike most academic journals that focus mainly on empirical studies, JCLRA specializes in systematic reviews, scoping reviews, bibliometric analyses, and critical narrative reviews.
The journal’s mission is to strengthen theoretical foundations, support evidence-based practice, and promote intellectual discourse through comprehensive review research.
JCLRA welcomes original review papers that explore current developments, frameworks, and theoretical discussions in the following areas:
-
Educational Technology and Digital Learning
-
Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Human–Technology Interaction
-
Mental Health, Counseling, and Social Well-being
-
Applied Humanities and Policy Studies
-
Innovation, Sustainability, and Future Studies
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
-
Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using PRISMA or equivalent protocols.
-
Scoping Review that maps emerging concepts or interdisciplinary connections.
-
Bibliometric / Scientometric Analysis using tools such as VOSviewer, RStudio, or Biblioshiny.
